I can find a use for something like this especially if I am out and about and my phone goes flat, but saying that you could probably make something similar for that using a 2s lipo pack and a 7805 regulator and keep that in your pocket and you can never have enough card readers as I am forever loosing mine.
As to modifying a d3 well I don't suppose it does really! Cheers Skippy.
