| Getting heated D4 front seats to work in D3 |

Hi guys,
I've searched the forum for this but I can't come up with a clear answer.
I have replaced the manual heated cloth seats in our D3 with manual cloth heated D4 seats. I replaced all the wiring underneath the seat but the heated seat function doesn't seem to work in the new seats. I read something about a polarity issue but can anyone offer a definitive answer as to what I need to do to get them working?
