2009 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Auto Baltic Blue

D4 driver side airbag

Question,

when I removed the driver side airbag, I took the cables out of the plugs for some reason (instead of disconnecting the plugs...).

Now I want to re-assemble them, but not sure how they were connected.

Can anyone put pictures of thier D4 airbag to show me how they are supposed to be connected?

mmm don't ask...

had an accident with my D4 which damaged front bumper, headlights, grille, windscreen and 2 airbags came out... Only hit the car in front of me at 10mph...

took all damaged parts off the day after and think I was a bit annoyed and only found out afterwarts that the cables were sitting in these 2 nice little connectors...

So now need to find out how they were sitting, before I do more damage...

Aside from getting them in the right places I am not sure what you are doing is a good idea. The SRS firing leads are a critical component made to a higher tolerance than other leads and connectors on the vehicle to the point of being gold-plated.

I cannot see how you did this without damaging them in some way. I can only recommend that you replace this bit of the wiring loom.

they are not damaged, just pulled them "gently" out of the connectors.

Now only need to know how they were sitting (forgot to mark/take picture) of original location.

So if someone could take a picture of the back of their driver side airbag, that would be great!

I am still concerned.

I also noticed that the vehicle is powered whilst you are bringing these pins togetherâ€¦.
