Melted headlight connector

Just been out to fit the new bulbs, couldn't get the connector off as the plastic had melted!

It a my11 d4 with 65k, is this common?

Its at the dealers tomorrow for tracking so ill get them both checked over.

Those sliding locks are a bitch!

I've seen some aftermarket bulbs cause damage.

The sliders work fine if greased correctly.

Changed my headlight bulbs the other day. My11 d4 and one of my bulbs was a Censored as the connector had melted!

So yes...guess it's a common thing!
