Guess we need one more now, Shouldn't think that will be a problem as the more I learn about the EVO's capabilities, the more I want one. Colin has said the offer will run to midnight GMT 28 February 2015.

Just submitted mine too, I cant wait
Question: what does everyone intend to do with their's first?
I Personally have 2 things,
1) Enable 4x4 Screen
2) Start tracking down my "HDC System Fault"

and, 3 flash indicator.

SNoTM is a 70 minute flash (although it can be broken into different sections) so you might want to start with smaller like 3 Flash indicators (as you said) or Clock on Dash Disco gone

No worries Lost for Words,
Thanks for letting us know, and as you note, I chose to go ahead anyway
I can confirm that I have indeed received PM's and order ref numbers for everyone who has ordered and used the Promo Code which i have forwarded to my Admin Angels who will be in touch with you Tomorrow
It is a very valid point and warning that you make LfW and while awaiting their new nanocoms to arrive, folks could do far worse than visit the documentation/downloads section on the web site and download / read the respective user guides and watch some of the Videos, especially related to the registration and entering unlock codes.
You could also do far worse than start by reading and saving the various things that can be saved including the CCF.
In respect of flashing, we have made the system as intelligent as possible in respect of messaging about supplimentary power requirements relative to how long flashing might take.
By example reflashing a CCF takes mere seconds and so should be fine on a full battery, however these vehicles consume a lot of power when the IGN is on and the voltage starts to drop of in minutes. And even with a really good fully charged battery, it will never be sufficient for the approx hour flashing the Touch screen for SNOM takes, which has to be done twice, so some form of supplimentary power needs to be employed.

Thanks for the note on SNOTM, will avoid that for now.
I, and I trust everyone else will, read and follow the instructions very carefully before progressing.
Just a thought if the battery drains that quickly, what output charger should be attached to the car to ensure no voltage drop or excessive drain during procedures.

By the book you need a serious power supply but by experience a 25 amp Ctek in supply mode has proven to be fine.
For minor work with a charged battery I plug in a 10 amp Ctek in supply mode, just to take some of the strain. As big updates are rare I just use jump leads to another vehicle for the really long updates as I would not get the usage out of a 25 Amp Ctek to justify the investment.
Don't use a regular charger or even a Ctek in anything but the smoothed regulated supply mode when programming.

I would agree with Robbie in that a 25 Amp power supply / charger should be fine as the most ideal solution, but that long updates are so rare that for private users, jump leads to another vehicle or possibly another good fully charged secondary Battery will suffice.
Most decent Chargers will have a Power supply mode.
In any event, it is almost unheard of that anyone would end up with an un recoverable ECU
So at worst, it is just a case of finding more power and having another go
