Gearbox, ABS, Park Brake and EBD Fault all at once!

I have a D4 3.0 , had it for six months with no issues. Just drove up to the shops, when I came back to the car and started, had all the above plus warning that Stability Control was not available and it was/went to access height. Drove it back to the caravan park like this, went for a bit of a walk before I would call LRA and check fault was still there. Tried it again and now seems its all OK.

Bloody mystery, will just wait to see if it happens again. Anyone else had issues like this, its like the computer got a glitch when I unlocked, and it needed a fresh start after that. (I did not do a full reset, just went away for a few minutes)

Regards
Gerry

Happens on my D4 and happen on my D3.
The reason it happens on my cars is left foot braking.
if the brake pedal and throttle are press at the same these warnings come so you must be left foot braking or have large feet.

If the warnings came on at start up it could just be an errant signal causing it. Happens from time to time but get the faultcodes checked next service or if it happpens again.

SJN is right, left foot braking and touching the accelerator at the same time is the cause. A shame the control logic is set that way, as left foot braking once learned is safer in an automatic. D4 pedal layout is a little too offset to the right for comfort though.

I had exactly the same faults on 3 occasions . The garage ran the diagnostics and found faulty brake switch to be at fault. £20 part and a bit of labour and all seems sorted.
