Permission from Martin to post this as it's not the normal problem!
I took the towbar off the D3 last week no problems. Went to take the key out of the barrel last night and it was stuck, eventually the key pulls the whole barrel out and i can't seem to remove the key from the barrel and leave the barrel in.
Any ideas or is it a trip to the dealers for a new spare part? Is there a technique to leaving the barrel in and just getting the key out (can't find the instructions)
Have tried WD40 but not made a difference.

With barrel in unlocked position i.e. lock pin exteneded, key cannot be withdrawn, make sure it is in locked position (pin withdrawn) and key should come out.
