hi did you replace the switch twice?
or just replace it once, and then hard reset later?
how did you do the hard reset?

Thanks

Just a heads up, I've been dealing with this same problem for a few months and switched out my brake switch, it seemed fine for a while than it happened again while driving on the highway. I had some faults stored up and I performed a hard reset to clear out all codes and this seemed to fix my suspension, hdc transmission problems along with the new brake switch. 600 miles later and everything is a okay. Knock on wood. Smile

I did another hard reset (post drying), no change. The faults come on as soon as the ignition is switched on. FML

Does this fault appear as soon as you start driving or does it appear without pulling away?

It would appear immediately upon startup.

Update to this post... All is well so far with my car. Trevor at http://www.british4x4specialists.com/ found the problem about at the point where I was ready to drive it off of a cliff.

Here's the post about it -> http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/post1564612.html#1564612
