Adding high beam assist to 2014 MY

Is it possible to add high beam assist to a 2014MY HSE as it has bright pack and xenons. We have a BBS MSV-2 and a IID tool.

Thanks

I can't think of a reason why it would not be possible.

The efficacy of the unit is another matter.

Well mine seems to work fine, but to make it work would you not have to fit a sensor to the back of interior mirror?

My problem with it is that it only reacts when it see's the approaching vehicle.

I was driving in the dark up the A1 north of Newcastle the other week, and the lorries were not too happy with me, as their eye-line pops up over the brow of a hill long before their headlights, so they get dazzled. Under manual control you would normally dip your lights as you see the top marker lights of an approaching lorry.

Same goes for twisty lanes, normally you would dip in advance of a car coming around the corner ahead of you.

So I would question the advantages of the system before going to the expense of retrofitting it. I am sure it is technically possible though.[/i]

I was hoping it might be a software setting as I assumed the dipping mirror sensor was used for the beam assist. It is only £155 option, so hoped it might just need activating.

Does it have another sensor fitted ?

I wouldnt assume it's a cheap mod

Heated steering wheel is only a £180 option .. To buy the bits later your looking at about £600

Mine is switched off. Doesn't react quick enough when needed and reacts from road sign reflections when it should not. Waste of time.
