FBH Advice.

Hi all, I was looking at a mates FBH with him on a 05 RRS last night as it was not working (he has only just bought it). I Have gone in with IID tool and ran the check operation function and it came back with an E7 code but started anyway and we left it running for a couple of minutes and it seemed to run ok.
We turned the car off whilst the engine was still cold enough to try again plus it was -1 outside and tried again but it will no longer start it tries but fails after 30econds. Have seen in live data that all seem to do as its meant to but it all goes wrong about 20 seconds after the fuel pump demand everything goes off or returns to zero. I have tried the fuel priming function but it just returns E3 code.
Im going to look into fuel delivery today but just thought id ask if anyone has any ideas or experiances with the same issue. Its especially annoying as it fired up first time we tried it with the machine.

If it ran without completing a cycle, it may have locked out again.

Did any codes come back, or did you just try another "check operation"? My D3 Build Thread

E7 every time. Failed to start even after retry. Or something similar.
I did clear codes before every retry. Do I need to remove fuse for a minute or two as that I didn't try...yet

Mine done something very similar. Ended up spraying brake cleaner down the air intake, to encourage it to burn.

Took 4 or 5 attempts, but it did eventually get going, and fires up every time now its cleared itself out Thumbs Up

EDIT: Bear in mind, if the FBH is still running, it wont allow you to do anything until it has fully shut down My D3 Build Thread
