Hi all.
I'm looking at using a Frontier Stove (lightweight/stable) with my Oztent, there are however some issues:
Anevey (manufacurers) do the Frontier with a 2" flue, no 45 deg angle available due to the flue size/draw etc.
I've spoken to Anevey today with the suggestion that an angled piece of flue is available, they feel that because of flue diameter they don't feel it would work, next suggestion is a change to 4" flue (they already manufacture a stove with a 4" flue but no angled piece atm) so only a small adjustment need be made to the flue exit point on top of the stove.
This idea interests them & it was floated that ideally they would like to see a tent in the flesh to see if the adaption would work, i'm a bit too far away to do this so wondered if anyone is nearby with an Oztent?
My feeling is that this adaption woUld also work with an RT and/or awning.
It was also mooted that if the costs are favourable they would look at doing a group buy for us with the adapted units, possibly as a package with a few other bits such as spark arrestor, floor-mat etc.
Holly has said she will talk to the design team & get back to me in the new year with an update.
Any help/thoughts appreciated. Paul.

been through the dilemma of woodburning stoves and flues for the past week
I was trying to adapt a Wildo to suit a large tipi, but because of the sie of the tent the flue was just too long at nearly 4m so I have bought a new Helsport stove with flue and heat shield to suit my needs
solutions I found up to that point included getting a bespoke stainless steel exhaust maker (pipewerx in lathom, lancs near me) to make you the pipe to the spec you need, they just need the internal and external diameter of the pipe
they can weld a larger stove neck onto the box to accommodate 3" or 4" pipework or simply provide a jointed adaptor to go from your 60mm to 3" and then use 3" stainless pipe for the rest of your flue in sections to suit your needs .
I was going to get a 45 degree bend to take my flue out of the side panel of the tipi using a stove jack but in the end didn't fancy cutting a hole and sewining the jack to my new tent, although it would look great, I tend to use and sell my gear regularly so it would have diminished the value on resale doing this method
3" pipe in stainless is approx. £15 per metre
For fitting to the tent either use a stove jacking for wall fit or a silicone ring for roof fit as sold on ebay (about £40 for the latter)
If you need anything else info wise just let me know, as I said ive done all the legwork on the subject over the past week already!!
