I've been using the maxview cube since they first came on the market. I always put it on the ground, chained to the caravan & it's never let me down, except on the med. where it struggled to get any channel other than Sky. It did however pick up all channels as far south as Clermont Ferrand. You must remember as with all dishes you will need a clear line of site to the satellite. I'd recommend one. never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly

After a fair bit of research decided to bite the bullet and purchased a maxview vuqube. Tried it at home and it works really well. Many thanks for all your input into this thread.
