Basic MY12 HSE or Loaded MY11 HSE
Sorry for another "which should I choose" thread but I'm torn between 2 HSE's which bridge the MY11/MY12 gap and wondered if you expericed owners would give an opinion if the extra options outway the new gear box/updated dashboard bits
My girlfriend went to our local dealer yesterday and drove both MY2011 & MY2012 back to back and said they both felt good with the newer gear back feeling a little better but not a massive amount ( we aren't used to Discos ) but she did say I'd prefer the newer more modern look of the dash
Thanks in advance
Si

For once this is an easy choice - the MY12 is a much better car.

Following advice here we've bought the facelift 12my one. Should be delivered next week
Whilst at the dealer, they had a 09 hse in silver which we were going to buy instead ( low mileage and cheapest car from a dealer in country ) but upon close inspection there was loads of surface rust around the rear seat fittings, middle row seat fittings, under the carpet, inside the hole where the bolt is to release the spare wheel and under the boot/spare wheel. There was also a strange smell..maybe damp.
We decided to leave it as we couldn't be sure if any permanent damage has been done or the source of the rusting
