Upgrade xenon bulbs
Also as the winter nights draw in - i have changed the Osram cool blue intense bulbs for the latest bulbs from Philips - Xtreme vision. these give 50% more light that the standard xenon - and way more width to the beam. and for the d4 owners like me we can finally say good bye to those horrible yellow headlights. i did the d4 first in fact and when i next drove the sport it was like having no headlights on - so i replaced them and the results were also amazing
take a look - D4 - left xtreme vision right oem d3s
and this is sport left Osram cool blue intense - then changed to philips xtreme vision in last photo.

finally arrived and tested D4 LED front indicator
its been a busy day and after months of trials and chasing i have finally got an indicator bulb for the d4
it even works without a resistor - no fast flashing of the repeater. i have 2012 model and you simple remove the bulb holder and gently separate the existing bulb from the holder and pop this one in place
very nice effect

The Phillips Xenons look impressive Ian, I have the CBI in now and they're good, but the RRS picture shows the extreme vision to be brighter Altox GSM FBH controller thread

The listing doesn't mention a pair but if you look at the pics it shows a pair boxed, so i reckon it must be for a pair!
Would be interested to see the comparison against HID bulbs as i've already converted my fogs to HID 55W 6000K's and they are bloody bright

Darrell
hi Darrell
I wouldnt swap from hid but as an upgrade from halogen they are worth doing and ideal to set up as Drl and fogs. The light is like the new led headlights and I prefer the whiter hid these days - age setting in.
Do you have the h11r bulbs?
Best Regards Ian
Hi Ian
Yes have H11R

Excellent! Is there a code to enter somewhere, or will your billing system know who we are? A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
