I have a pair ready to go in my D3.
Got mine from Ian at HIDS4U.
I've tested them - and they look great - but doubt they will function as fog lights very well since LEDs produce more of a puddle of light rather than a beam, which is what's required to penetrate through fog.
The bayonet fitting is not as tight as the standard H11 bulbs and will almost certainly need some sealant/tape or something to prevent moisture ingress.

The lamps are NOT "on the CAN bus", this is a load of rubbish peddled by eBay tat sellers.
The issue they are alluding to is if the vehicle you are fitting replacement lamps to uses bulb monitoring, then an LED does not appear to these systems to be a bulb. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Any LED replacement for Halogens (H1,H3,H4,H7....you get the idea!) will only give you cosmetic value, there is no ability to produce these (Yet) with enough focus to give directional light.
Get rid of the fogs and fit the Osram DRL kit @ £190, that does give lots of light as a Fog (E1-Marked/Approved product) Paul Redding

I thought it was normal to drive around with your fogs on all the time for at least two weeks after fog (and or slight shower) was last spotted in the country So just leave them on Paul Redding

Fogs AND sidelights. No dipped headlamps, please, regardless of how dark it might be.
