buying disco 3 what to look for and how much

I'm looking to buy a disco 3 05-07 what should I look out for and what kind of money should I be looking to spend, want a decent model, been told these are bullet proof

They're not bulletproof!! They're highly complex and as a result a high maintenance vehicle. The complexity, weight and general "do anything, anywhere" mean components get a hard life.

However, using this forum and the immense knowledge available members run their cars at almost reasonable figures.

Also, again via this forum, you'll learn what and how in terms of looking after your D3/D4 even better than the standard LR servicing ever would. MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
