Fitting Anderson connector in MY15 grill
On my last D4 I fitted an Anderson connector ( for jump starting ) in the front grill .
When I sold it I removed all the bits so I could fit it on the new one .
Like this
So today I went to fit it only to find the slatts on the grill are now too close together .
There is just about room to squeeze a couple of strobes in the top .. But no chance with the Anderson ( not unless I changed to a smaller one )
Here's my solution
Cut out the badge
Make a bracket
Line it all up
Get a Anderson dirt protector and an old badge ( type that goes on FFRR rear ) part number DAH500270
Pop it in place
Put the badge back on
Just spraying the connector and bracket .. Will update with a final pictureG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Plasti dip is dry now
Thought I'd put in a new fuse holder as well

Ade, that looks OEM quality. I am impressed.
I presume there enough clearance between the fuse box lid and the bonnet when closed?

BMW .. Yes got the hole cut out after you'd gone .. Done the rest today
Robbie .. Yes it clears no problem .
Will eventually connect the winch into that fuse holder as well .
I will have an emergency metal bar to fit the fuse holder .. Just I case I need more power than the 150 amp fuse can handle G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
