Remote climate and Meridian 825 stereo not compatible

Looking to order a new D4 HSE and noticed that the remote climate and stereo upgrade to 825w are not compatible.
Does anybody know why when the climate remote can be added later?
My 2010 had the 825 stereo as standard and didn't upgrade when got my 2012 D4 and I missed it.
Could the dealer remove the climate remote from my 2012 disco and fit it to a new D4?

Not sure for definite but isn't the amp now in the rear where the remote climate gubbins also lives rather than under the drivers seat? My guess (and its only a guess) that if you order the super dooper hifi there isn't enough room in the rear panel to fit the remote climate unit in as well.

The receiver for the timed climate is the size of a box of matches .. So I doubt that's the issue.

Certainly a new one on me that you can't have timed climate with updated stereo

Are you sure your dealer knows what he's talking about ?

I ordered the 825 w stereo and timed climate when I ordered my 15MY car .. No problems ..

It was never said that the 2 could not be ordered together . I eventually cancelled the stereo due to cost and reviews G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Going to the dealers on Friday so will find out for sure.
It's the website that won't allow the configuration.

I've got both remote and 825w meridian so can be done. might just be a glitch with online config. XC90 T8 R Design Pro

Ordered D4 HSE Montalcino Red
Ebony leather
Active diff
Stereo upgrade
Heated steering wheel
Remote park heating
Adaptive xenons
Black lacquered wood
Side steps
Tow bar electrics

Arriving January Very Happy
