Nice i am sure you will love it. I didn't think a bit of an engine tweak and some new interior trim would make much difference but the D4 is a complete revelation next to the D3

I've just bought my D4 HSE from Ongar Bridge two weeks ago. Been down to the Black Forest area of Germany with my Swift Conqueror 645 and the 4 is a total Revelation over my beloved 3. The sequential turbo set up makes the whole experience far more relaxed and the steering gives a planted feeling that my 06 just couldn't match. Loved the extra power of the 4, miss the Bi Zenon adaptive cornering lights. Love the almond interior and keyless entry, happier now I have my old SS side tubes rather than the OB wings.
OB sold my Father in Law a Trooper 17 years ago and were excellent to the point of letting him drive the car home to see if it fitted in his garage. It did and he bought it. I dealt with James who struck a decent deal for my 3 and swapped over a number of "extra's" from my 3 to the 4. Really can't complain at all. He polished up my side tubes and painted my roof rack and tow bar to look like new.
FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!
D4 HSE 2012 Like a second wife, more expensive but goes better! I almost cried this time!
D3 HSE 2006 (Almost 8 years together, true love)
Land Cruiser VX 1994 11 years together, wife cried when I p/ex'd for my D3

How is it ?
not sure how but i have managed to hold the keys for it since collection sat until around 7pm last night when i decided to let the wife drive home. Only done around 100 miles or so but compared to the 3 its night and day, so glad we swapped now.

We dealt with peter as we did last time.
Wifey likes the OB wings, helps the kids get in too.
The one thing i like with Ongar, we have NEVER in 2 purchases been pushed into anything and given the keys and sent on our way to test drive.
Dealing with the plate transfer isnt an issue. Infact a few warrenty issues on the D3 were so swiftly dealt with it was a pleasure and the reason we didnt have an issue returning.
We had a multi height towbar on the D3, atho rarely tow i do have a car trailer/trackday car that i tow with my L200. Rather than swapping the whole thing they threw in a removable incase i needed it as well as a new plate (that they also supplied me with last time for the trailer).
Only issue i will be contacting them about is ours has factory rear entertainment but on looking we have no remote or headphones.
All in all tho very happy after 100 miles the fuel hasnt budged either. Hmmm it cant be THAT much better can it?
