Any interest in some North Yorkshire green laning?
Hi Folks,
Is there enough interest to organise a day / weekend of green making in the Yorkshire Dales / North York Moors areas? It's a long time since I've had the time for any recreational off roaring and so I've either lost touch with the people I used to go with (or the now drive people carriers / sports cars) so I'm hoping to get a few people together to go and drive a few lanes.
I'm not planning to try to arrange a major "event", just 4-6 cars and a nice day out but if there's a lot of interest and someone wants to make more of it then go ahead.

Could be interested in a little trip, not used the D3 off-road other than at LRO show at Peterborough last year - could be nice to get a little group together

Good, it looks like there's a bit of interest.
How about I suggest a couple of dates and a vague plan and then the details can be filled in later.
How about either Sunday 12th October, or Sunday 26th October.
Vague plan: Meet somewhere (probably Harrogate / Ripon area) then head West. Keeping to fully legal lanes, trying not to do any damage or get stuck. I know most of the lanes in the area but haven't driven some of them in the last 15 years, so if someone with more recent knowledge wants to make suggestions, that would be good.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

I've added a poll so that people can indicate their preferred day (a sign-up might of been more useful but I don't know how to do it - Mods is it possible to change it?).
If this proves popular, we could always do something similar another time as well.
