On Saturday I had the opportunity of testing my car's wading ability and electrics. Drove through about 2 feet of water without problems other than regrettably swamping the car next to me. Boy does this car shift water sideways even at very low speed. The only unusual thing was the venue. On the A3 just north of Guildford
BTW, when I took delivery of the car I took the precaution of immediately spraying the exposed wiring at the rear with Waxoyl to protect the connectors.

I would think the waxoyl was a very good move.
