it's raining....raining in my car.....
Yep
few years old and after leaving it for a week got in and once underway water started hissing out of the passenger side air bag pillar bung and the bottom of the pillar trim.
I have the Prospeed rack on but cant see how that could cause an issue unless so much rain came down that it filled up over the sun roof. (the prospeed is sealed well along the front three edges as I know from all the leaves that stay there)
Any ideas where it is coming from?

Blocked sunroof drains, an unsealed a-pillar trim, disconnected sunroof drain or damaged windscreen seal. Likelihood in the order given.

cheers Robbie
I shall go on a hunt for a sunroof drain which will be made trickier as you cant open the sunroof fully with the prospeed rack on

You do need to open the sunroof to access the drain which are located in each corner and not east to see. I find the best method to clear them is to rod them free with net curtain wire. It is the right size, flexible and wrapped in plastic. 2 metres is a good length to work with.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

The problem i think was the prospeed not letting the water out during a super heavy downpour due to collected leaves etc.resulting in too much for the drains to cope with
The rack relies on the indentations where the roof rails run under it to drain water out.. These have been cleaned out and the problem did not occur with a good hose down.
fingers crossed

chopcat,
Is it coming from the top corner, if so it might be simmilar to what I have on my D3, it's been leaking on and off for some time during heavy rain, I don't have a sunroof and have only just found out that it's seeping in from the top corner of the windscreen. It took some time of pouring water over that corner for it to eventually show itself, it's been a mystery for some time, now I have to decide if it's worth paying for a windscreen refix, anybody any idea how much they charge for that??
