I have the de-cat, and although I like the full system without centre resonator, I am fitting one when the twin turbo is fitted to just take it down a few more decimals.
so as a D3 single turbo then with a small amount of interior noise at 70mph go without the middle resonator.
if your wife is in the car a lot but you want just the rasp at the rear get the centre resonator as well.
you can always go without and then get it sent to fit if just too much to live with, not that you really hear it inside,
one of the other members from Aberdeen has been in my car and I gave it some and we were still talking without issue.

whats the size of the oval? more than a coke can?
ive frame by framed your upside down vid
even yours look huge  and they are not the straight ones?
pics would be good but im still going for it

mine are the taper finished downward ones which finish on the vertical rear to look at, will try get some more pics tomorrow, and will see if I can get a audio file done to keep you happy. FFRR SC 4.2

I'm interested in the cat back with resonator, however, I don't like the chrome bling on the back. I want it to look as standard as possible. Can I have it without the bling?
