Judder under breaking new discs and pads |
|
2010 D4, had the pads and discs changed yesterday by an independent, all running fine, but this afternoon I have a judder when breaking at firm at 70mph. It's like the abs kicking in and out, rather thanwheel wobble.
The pads and discs are made by delphi. I have notice the front pads are different from the ones they took off, in as far as there looks like there is some sortof weight on the old front pads
I am informed they assure me they are the right pads basedon the vin number
The wheels were rebalanced today after I noticed it, but not solved it. Anybsuggestion, need bedding in or think it's the wrong pads? I have looked on the net and both pad types are shown

Delphi.
I know they also make stuff direct for LR as their name is plastered on the side of the air suspension, so when I was told Delphi I accept them as an ok make. For all I know they make LR's genuine pads/discs? CLUB DEFNER

Delphi discs should be alright. There may be a bit of rust behind the disc, causing it to run out of true, and giving the vibration.
Best advice is to take it back
EDIT: Assuming it can be felt through the steering, it will be the front end. If only felt through the pedal, it will be rears My D3 Build Thread
