Black stealth
I have a few cans of black PlastiDip and considering going for the full stealth look on my black 2013 D4. (I especially like the look of MY2014 rear lights!)
I've seen a few examples of black plasti on other colour cars on here but not on a black car. Anyone done this and have any photos or know any members who have? Just wanted to get an idea of what it might look like before I waste a load of plasti and time/effort.

I think the wheel nuts stand out a mile. They need painting black.

Agreed ...I also think the reflections on the body don't help needs to be matte black 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Thanks for the pic devonchilliman, I like it....!
SWMBO is not sold on the idea, but hey... It's not permanent!
I agree with Gareth on black wheel nuts, and also with DG, it might look even better with whole car in Matt black but that's definitely not a job I would want to undertake, and think a professional vinyl wrap would be best option if I went down that route, which is out of budget at the moment
.
Anyway... It's inspired me for now, so thanks again.
I may even start with wheels this weekend, If the weather holds out.

15mm aren't they?
Seriously I'm doing my 6 spoke early HSE winter wheels gun metal pobably. There are two sellers on the bay offering solid black centre caps without the chrome outer ring but the clips on the rear are different diameters which is a bit of a bawache.
With all sincerity has anyone ever thought of plasti-dipping or wrapping the centre H trim panel or is this a step too far? Can't decide if it would just look naff.VR6 > 330D Touring > D3 HSE > !?XC90?!

Those are the ones Ron, I ditched the lockers so just used 20 covers I will put a pic up a minute, good cheap fix for those that don't like the shiney look.
