Not so easy to come by since the system changed last year. They now come direct from Land Rover rather than the Dealer so less around.

Landrover Experience - follow on question

Hello Markate,

I saw this request Urgent and remebered I was given TWO vouchers by the dealer when I bought my discovery (07MY).
I still have them - and had completely forgotten them.

they have serial numbers but are not dated..

If still valid then one is available... Wink

In theory the ones the Dealer gave out have a validity of 12 months from the date of issue. There is a degree of flexibility on the 12 month limit but I suspect anything over 24 months from issue may be rejected by the booking agency.

Having just ordered a D4 - I asked for a LR Experience voucher and was told it would come direct from LR after I take delivery and it can be up to 6 month after delivery!

This seems crazy as I want to do the experience in readiness for the delivery - not 6 months after!!

Not impressed and the dealer seemed indifferent to the whole thing. Phil

Orangesofa I picked my new car up on 11/09/2014 and have just received my experience letter in the post this morning Thumbs Up

I was chatting with a dealer principle last week about the experience vouchers and why the dealers don't give them away any more, he said the main problem was that people were selling them (dealers and MOTP) and Land Rover didn't like that so they have 'taken steps' to make sure that the only person that can benefit from them is the person they are intended for. He either didn't know or wouldn't tell me how Land Rover are doing this though. Cheers Ian

I'm sure the new ones said something like they weren't transferable but we used my father in law's at Luton - his came direct from Land Rover after buying a new defender D4 2010 HSE Santorini Black
D3 2005 SE Java Black - p/x to D4
D2 2001 GS - p/x to D3
D1 1998 - p/x to D2
