Vibration from my disco4
Hi can anyone help diagnose the problem with my disco 4?
It's a 2009 model with 95k miles. I'm getting a vibration which can be felt throughout the car. The vibration only seems to happen when on a motorway and only occurs once in a journey about 5-10 mins from the start. The vibration lasts for about 30 seconds then fades away and never occurs on the same journey. I've tried to eliminate obvious things like wheels balanced, tyre pressures, tracking, suspension, but all of which wouldn't account for the vibration being intermittent.
I've read about possible vibration from the gearbox so during the vibration I've tried taking out of auto and changing gear. This has no effect on the vibration. It's as if something vibrates as it reaches a certain temperature but I don't know what? Any ideas welcome.

Does anybody think it could be a shudder from the gearbox?

Check for hot wheels, could be binding calipers. Check carefully.
