Thanks for the link, really useful. What would be a reasonable cost for a LR approved dealer/garage to change all 3 turbo hoses, I would go for Silicone rather than the LR OEM ones.

I replaced the large intercooler hose, the easy one, with a genuine LR part at a cost of just under £50. Original had lasted over 100K miles. Exclamation

Thanks Zamsilv. Was your original hose split, or delaminating? I understand the bigger hose is the easier to do yourself, but the other 2 can be somewhat of a bu_ _ger to do.

The big hose is easy, the bigger one on the left is OK. The small one is difficult (I've left it on mine for now) - you need a large supply of patience. Thumbs Up

Hello Lost for Words
Assuming you used Silicone hoses, did you reuse the black corrugated sleeves over the top of the new hoses?
Thanks Derry

My original hose was split (6 inch split) on the bend where it fits onto the inlet manifold. I drove the car for 150 gentle miles before I could replace it, with no adverse effects

I bought the hose directly from manufacturer, i'll pm you details as i don't want to upset any of the site sponsors who may sell similar, it wasn't bought as a set just the 1 hose.

Well, mine were rather falling apart so I didn't bother. I don't think they really need them but I'm thinking about getting some new ones anyway.

I didn't have a split hose when I did mine, I changed them anyway.

Does anyone do the silicone hose in boring black, or does it have to be boy racer blue, green or red only.

Yes plenty do black, try Pete @BAS site sponsor he does/did them, as for ply the more the better typically 4 but some do 5.
