D3 DIESEL INJECTORS

if anyone has to replace the injector leak off pipes on a v6 diesel and drops a little retaining clip. you can get these from your local citroen dealer for around £2.20 each. the engine and injectors are exactly the same!!! life saver as stealers said the whole unit had to be replaced at £££'s. :d Thumbs Up

OK, maybe not exactly, but the clips and Injectors are! I know as I have fitted them. It is a PSA engine?

Hi

I didn't buy the injectors just the clips as I was replacing the leak off pipes. It is worth calling your local Citroen Agent, it is the engine that fits a Citroen C6 or C5 Hdi V6. Smile

Yes I have. But that's why I left it to you as I would have dropped them all Shocked

I had already dropped a bolt 🔩 and it was never to be seen again, that was enough at the weekend.

Just to follow this up. I got a clip from Peugeot and the part number is 1982A4 and they are £2.15 inc vat each.

I've got it fitted and all is good.

I tied a piece of thread to it so that if I dropped it, it would not disappear like the last one Whistle

Not had it out for a run. I was late in as my original flight today got cancelled, so will take it for a good run tomorrow. It'll better be fixed or its getting burned Big Cry
