It still vibrates!!!!

Hi all,

I'm after some help please, with a vibration I've been chasing for ages.

To cut a very long story short, I had the auto box rebuilt 10k ago, both front wheel bearings shortly after and today a new rear prop shaft.

I'm left with just one vibration now, which mainly seems to happen in 3rd, when accelerating from just over 30 to about 40mph. It doesn't happen when cold, so I'm guessing the TC slipping is masking it in the morning. Also, there are no faults being logged anywhere for it

My gearbox chap wants to rebuild the transfer box, but I don't understand why this would cause the issue I have - although I'm probably the least mechanical person on the planet. Part of my problem is I can't afford to throw more oney at the car without good reason, and if I go through the Warranty Company again, it's going to take more months that I have to put the D2 back on the road for.

Any advice anyone can offer would be appreciated, especially if it's cheaper than a transfer box rebuild!

I'm beginning to think I should have stopped buying Landies when I bought my Series 3 six years ago!

Thanks
MWH
