Black, is it the right colour! |
|
So, I think my D3 is great, 350+ miles in 3 days and loving it every minute.
So tiday, I was driving from the M1 J13 to Bedford, passing the local land fill site and what is in front but a dirty great lorry being hosed down, and i mean being hosed down. Saw it and slowed but the overspray got the car. I arrived home in a dirty brown car and did not get off road. I then proceeded to clean the car and decided its a to keep clean, my Cherokee i just handed in was silver and cleaned it once or twice a year.
I love the colout but not the cleaning, me thinks i'll be spending time at the local hand wash cleaning place.

Yes, I have yet another black car, the D3 after vowing everytime, never to get another. You have to be a masochist to own one.

The problem is that Balck with tinted glass looks fantastic, when it's clean.
Oh well i suppose each to their own and after owning a silver car for the last 3 years, got very bored with that colour.

My black D3 is fantastic when clean, which sadly is not for long, but I like it. Silver is great, but a little boring. Use Flash to clean the car its brilliant and takes about 20 mins.

Black is a great shade - if you like cleaning cars!
I have silver, and it does not show the dirt so much, but I still clean it every week.

Ladders!
Land Rover shoud put a set of step ladders on the options list
If the ladders are in use elsewhere, I can just about reach most of the roof by standing on top of the rear tyres, or the back bumper.
The top middle of the screen has always been difficult for the vertically challenged!
