What was it in reality? Trip comp lies by up to 5mpg, only fuel in vs miles covered counts. Plus I've found that after the switch to soooooper diesel the comp tends to have a bit of a sugar rush and goes way over.

Beat that!!
Point 1, seatbelt light on for passenger seat as it was holding jump leads after leaving cubby box on!
Point 2, I on dash is for the stupid coolant level sensor that I still need to change.
Point 3, I was going slightly too fast to really be taking a picture!
Point 4, kept my record mpg for thick end of two miles!!!!
edit -
Point 5, I was in sport too!!!26 and on the 4th LR..

Clearly it has to be checked against real-world calculations but some displays are correct - my D3 was accurate with no tweaking required. My D4 needed adjusting by -13% such was its level of optimism!

Don't think you can on a D3. You can on the 4 with the electronic gizmo.

On a full tank (around 85ltr) of mixed driving mine will roughly do 600 miles which works out to about 32mpg, I dont really pay much attention to the mpg read out on the trip but it can show anything from 28 to 34... I just leave the range showing
