don´t forget that you will need an interior rear view mirror autodip too...and this is because you actual manual interior rear view not going to make marriage with the hitch of the new windscreen... lost in translation!

Hi Stephen,
Sorry if this seems a dumb question but just to clarify......are you saying you are trying to retro fit auto lights into a non auto light vehicle?
I only ask for clarity as this is something I wanted to do myself. I have an 05 S-Spec that I have been slowly upgrading. I added front fogs & HALO's in an HSE bumper and obviously I needed to get a new headlight switch to operate them. The new switch came with the auto option and as I hate having something on the car that doesn't work I wondered what was needed to retro fit auto lights.
If it is just a windscreen with the mirror sensor unit and an CCF file change that would be really cool. From the Factory: '05 Java Black D3 S-spec, Manual, Heated Fr & Rear Seats, Cruise, HK High Line.
Mods from me: D4 Bluetooth PTI, Napa Leather Smooth Wheel & New Gearstick Gaiter, De-tango'ed Light clusters, RRS Grille Mod, Hid's4u L.E.D's in every bulb holder, Centre Cubby Fridge, Colour coded front bumper with front PDC, fogs and halo DRL's. Dash vent illumination mod. More power sockets.

I've done it ... you will need:
-a light switch with AUTO position.
-a windscreen with light and rain sensor.
-a interior auto dimming mirror. The windscreen with sensors can not hook it to manual mirror ...it have different systems (on Ebay you get it easily for 30 or 40 pounds)
-Connect the two existing and unused cables in space on the uper cortesy lights
-and a person who activate in CCF ...the mine was GEOFF, he activated it masterfully.
and everything works fine now !!! ...since one year
