Help in finding partnumbers

Hi!

I have completely rusted brake disc splash shields in the back - both sides. Need to change them out. I have a bad squeak when driving, but first when driving a while. Guess some of these parts gets hot and expands, then the noice. I removed parts of the splash shields and saw that these had contact with the brake discs. Noticeable too!!

But when driving home again, after a while the squeak comes back. Could it be the calipter or the EPB brake shoes?

Anyways, I would like to replace all this, but cant seem to find all the parts needed.

I would like to change:
Both splash shields in the back.
EPB brake shoes, springs and pins etc both sides.

I have replaced my brake discs and pads front and back last year.

Any help with the partnumbers would be much appreciated!!!

The rear splash guards should be:

LR025152 (LH)
LR025154 (RH)

Looks as though they are approximately £50 each in the UK.

Personally, I would not pay LR prices for the EPB shoes and clips. You can buy a full set of good quality aftermarket (Borg & Beck) EPB shoes from Advanced Factors for what LR charge for one side only. I bought a set of these and fitted them to my own D3.

Have a look here:

Bear in mind that to replace the rear backplates, the hubs have to be pulled out, which may well damage the wheel bearings, which would require replacing and things pressing in again, (usually requires very sturdy pullers and press equipt ), a job and a half on most cars, let alone a D3. Are you sure they can't be de rusted and re painted for the time being?.......... Laughing

Thanks for the replies:)!

Well, there are almost nothing left of my backplates, so I think it is time to get some new ones! Very bad they way they are. Completely ruined!

I get to borrow a fully equipped garage when I need to, so I would have all the tools needed to get this sorted. But I am aware that some problems could occure.. Lets hope not Bow down !

Woolmeister - thanks for the tip! Will certainly check out advancedfactors for the EPB shoes!
