Ref HDC fault. This always signifies a low voltage at the battery. Did it this morning and corrected after a 30 Klm drive..........it is now due a full battery charge/service cycle. After this it will be good for another 6 weeks of small duration trips. Ref your transmission fault, can't help, not had that yet. Life always good with a Landy

It was fine until I stuck a needle in the sensor hole and cleaned it! I think ive broken the MAP sensor 2005 Discovery 3 HSE
Yep, you probably have. There's a diaphragm in the sensor. If you can get a diagnostics box on it, you can probably confirm so (Intake manifold pressure reading).
You'd better get in touch with Brad@YeovilLR.

Took it to my Indy who couldn't clear faults, Hard reset has not cleared the faults so I've ordered a new MAP sensor!
He said there was an issue with the manifold pressure so fingers crossed. It could be a coincidence but it was perfect before I did that.2005 Discovery 3 HSE
