(ding) Engine fault. Possible fuel issue

Not sure if iam looking at a hpfp problem here but it's a weird one.
Drove 150 odd miles away for the weekend the other day until I heard the (ding) and showed up engine fault dipped clutch ticked over ok drove another 2 miles and cut out on a bad bend and wouldnt start luckily had a tin of brake cleaner in the back give it a squirt in the intake whilst cranking and away it went drove about all weekend then drove home about another 250 miles at this point just before home and exactly same as first time started with a squirt.
Plugged it into the snapon machine through the week and has code p2290 injector control pressure too low.
Been out with it on live data all injectors are same values
Fuel pressure is 22000 Kpa on idle then after a while if I push it a bit hard it (dings) anywhere between 111,000 Kpa and 131,000 Kpa. It cut out twice when we were out in it first time pressure dropped to 6000 Kpa and only had 100 Kpa when trying to start but went with a squirt the second time dropped to 4300 Kpa and again just under 100 Kpa but started with a squirt.

Anyone else had this issue? If it needs a new hpfp I'll buy one but not not wanting to buy one if it's sumit else. Thought of pulling the tank off too does anyone know the numbers for the Citroen in tank pumps that can be used? I'll chuck one in whilst it's out. Cheers.

Sounds like it could be the fuel filter restricting the flow (had similar), is it a genuine filter?

Advanced factors don't have them in stock. If I could just get a part number I could get one from one of the factors we use.
