Inside of a BCU
In a post where Robbie posted a pic of a bcu, I asked a question on what it looks like inside and how to open the little :censored: . I did a post a while back on whats inside a Logic 7 amp with pictures.
Heres one about the Bcu..
I finaly got my hands on a friends bcu, rear windows was dead, diagnosed to be fault in the bcu. I think its the relays that is not working. He ofered me hees bcu after i have programed a new one.
I would like to find the relay that hides deep inside, and see if it is the relay that is faulty or not.
So here it is, on my bench by my computer. 2 philips screws, and 8 locking clips on the edge inside each side, use a smal flat screw driver to open it. now you need to remove all the fuses and the relays. max 5 of them, this one had just 3.
As this is 2 pcb's soldered together i have a nice job infront of me of desoldering all the pins needin to be undone. Then i need to find the pins for the switches and follow the path, all the way to the relay.
So now you know what it looks like inside a BCU for a Disco

Im sorry Narpy, Resize it in what way? I use Firefox and its fine here..
I Need a decent hotair rework station before i tackle this job. So this is on my next to buy in list.
Strange that when you need (want) a new item it allways ends up on top of that list..
