I got a red warning this morning, system charging fault, it cleared after a few minutes. Any ideas if this could just be a blip or something more serious. Is there any way to check the better health from within the display setup ? Cheers Salty Brand Loyalty Is An Expensive Business

get it checked asap. A failing alternator will take the battery with it.

Did you get anywhere with this issue, Ive had the same come up today. Vardys cant get it booked in for Diagnostics until the 5th Jan!

There's a separate thread on this subject - is it a 2014 MY vehicle?
If so, there is a TSB out for this fault and it needs a software update... if yours is a 14 model then you also need to check about the posssible recall notice that affects a certain number of D4's.
Both of mine were done while I waited...

Smiles per Mile - Tornado Motorsports caged Evo 3... 100" Defender look-alike, with Range Rover running gear - all fully IVA'd and registered!

Don't panic too much - mine popped up and I did sweet nothing about it for a while and only got around to it on a 'just in case' basis to avoid an issue over Christmas...
