replacing engine ecu procedure tdv6 2005

Hi

We suspect the engine ecu is faulty (not controlling HP pump valves) and would like to replace with with other one from a working car.
the car is 2005 tdv6.

Can you tell the procedure to make it work?
We tried to reflash it but there is p1621 error and no starter.
