Fault Code Help
Hi,
I've had some recent issues with my split charge system so decided to buy a new solenoid. Fitted it at the weekend and seemed to be going well until last night when I saw steam coming from the engine compartment.
Looks like the auxiliary battery has over charged and basically cooked. I've now disconnected the whole thing and removed the Aux battery as the battery light is now illuminated and I'm getting the fault code P0625 - Generator Field Terminal - circuit low?
Any ideas, I'd rather get some advice before I stick the battery on the charger. Engine running it was reading about 14.6V and switched off about 12.9V if this helps?

Sounds messy, what split charge system do you have?
Clearly you have a alternator issue and the monitor system could be goosed or shorted. Check fuses (F20E 5 amp) and the condition of the cables and connectors on the alternator before condemning it.
