tapping knocking something

Hi all hope these symptoms ring a bell for someone.

Had a disco 3 for around a month now and since buying the garage has had it back in for over 2 weeks, a knocking could be heard from the left side, the garage has spent £2190 changing suspension legs/arms all the bushes and various small bolts and so on, i have the invoice from the garage showing all the parts used, theres alot and its pretty much all new as far as suspension goes but BUT Grrrrrrrr, i still get a small knocking that comes from the front left.

It seems to be related to nothing, braking, over bumps never at speed or round roundabouts but when coasting or driving very slowly forwards or reverse sub 10 mph its rife with this little knocking tapping noise, in saying that though last night driving straight at 30 mph i could hear it also run it too a local land rover specialist who took a look and confirmed all new underneath but couldnt put his finger on where it was coming from, although he could hear it on test drive.

I wonder if its a pipe or a loom or something just knocking against a side of something as both garages say now that its not knocking at the suspension anywhere they can see. anybody got any ideas ?

its a D3 2006 was mot'd at land rover in Feb and given a clean bill of health then !

Hope this is of use to someone, car has been in lr for a couple of days had a call today saying they have found the problem or should I say problems, lower steering joint worn and defective links too, although these links had been changed apparently in the last work carried out, the previous guy had put pattern parts on and we're pretty nasty fits apparently, should have car back tomorrow knock free, fingers crossed
