2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 5 Seat Manual Java Black

Cambelt

Hi im Andy new to the site I have brought a Disco 3 on a 55 plate low miles 52000 1 owner from new full history but can't find any record of cambelt being done or do some Disco's have a chain ? Thank's

Welcome

Discos have both

Belts to the front and the hpfp at the rear of the block. Chains linking the cams on each cylinder head.

Plenty of info on here to help you change the belts.

Should have been done in the 7th service. Might be worth seeing who did that service and give them a ring.
