Off to France (Camping Le Pin Parasol) with the caravan 5th Aug for 2 weeks, meeting up with some of the boys from D2BC.
Once we get back will be going to East of England Showground at Peterborough, will arrive there the 19th and depart 21st.Dale
Off to Lake Annecy in a couple of weeks with the caravan!
Already been once a couple of weeks ago to drop off the boat - 1400 miles in 36 hours!

Arrived back last Wednesday from a week just outside Toronto for a family wedding picked up my new 2011 D4 XS on the Friday Happy days.... Probably a few days camping and mountain biking in the autumn if I have any money left after fuelling the car

Discotres - last year I did the parapetting off the mountain as that was on my bucket list and it's awesome. Sambu has a great all weather toboggan which is fun and it's cooler up there during the day. There's a good market in Annecy old town on virtually every morning but the biggest and best one is on Sunday morning. It's all about the lake and the wTer mainly and if you're going diving I'm guessing you be in it!
There is a great view of the lake and a nice restaurant at the top of col de forclaz and it's a great drive up too.
And of course the awesome ice cream shop by the river in the old town!
I stay at Le Lac Blu in Doussard right on the southern tip,of the lake and live it, been this will be our fifth year in a row.Disco 3 2.7 TDV6 55 Buckingham Blue Base

Jan, Nav Officer on M/T Bro Sincero...
Hi Jan,
What a small world! I'm about 20 miles away from the docks, on the other side of the water in fact. But I've spent most of the last week on the Huskisson Dock for the Oil company based there, inspecting vehicles for them. What a coincidence!
Regards
Pete

Thanks, we are staying at Camping International, first reason it was the only place available at the last minute, all others fully booked, and secondly and luckily it is only 200mtrs from the Dive Centre
Only there for 4 days before heading south, it looks fun with a water park but will be out most of the time

Was having a lovely time up in Sutherland and Caithness then had to drive all the bloody way back to Notts because of the inflexibility of the company who supply some of my drugs (they are a bit important) who wouldn't delay their delivery schedule!
Anyway, will be back in Durness by Thursday with my trusty D3 and Eriba Troll in tow for a week or so.
Then late Sep on an airyplane to the US for six weeks to continue the great tour (Year 3). This year it's Nevada, Utah, Idaho up to Montana......'Do ya want cheese with that?'
