Swapped Scorps with 245/45/20 Cooper LTZ

With my Scorps getting down to legal limits, and the PNC looming this coming weekend, I have just fitted a set of Cooper LTZ, in 275/45/R20. These were not new tyres and wheels, so after some initial balancing issues, they are now running smoothly.

Look good and I am really surprised at how quiet they are considering the reasonably chunky treads.

There that quiet that you can hardly hear them, as you say you would imagine that there going to howl a bit.

What alway makes me wonder is why other chunky tyres are so noisy.

Did the same last month, changed my 4 scorps to the LTZ's (275x45x20).

Initially the first 500 or so miles the mpg was poor however they have settled down now and it seems to be back where it was before.

Also not noticed any significant noise increase, really pleased so far and at £620 for the four brand new,
a flea bay bargain me thinks Thumbs Up

Plus they look great !
