Obviously im not doing something right but I couldn't add pics to previously started thread but seems ok with new!
From old girl to new kid on block. Sadly the once much loved D4 six speed replaced by new MY14 8 speed.
I absolutely love the improvements and have been waiting for it to arrive while taking in any negative comments ready to make own judgement.
I actually don't find the stop start a problem and can actually seem to control it with break pedal pressure unless its just coincidence.
Done about 600 miles and reading just over 28 mpg so no great improvement from six speed really.
Overall the ride is so much smoother and quieter than previous but then it is brand new.
Just got to off load The old girl now so any advice on best way to go would be much appreciated as didn't like the dealers offer!

So long as its constructive, we don't mind. Posting for the sake of getting your post count up, just to sell something is not in the spirit of the forum.

I understand Gareth, it was said in jest.
I have found the site very useful and informative whilst waiting what felt an age for the new motor.

Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.
B.A.S - FBHIC. Uncle Rays spare wheel protector. Beanie Silver Black badges.

New acquisition ordered Feb arrived end of June so between 4 to 5 months waiting like a kid a month before christmas.
SDV6 Commercial Indus Silver. Colour seems to stay cleaner looking for longer.
20" Wheels which just edge the 10 spoke on previous Disco.
Electric heated leather seats with armrests. Oh the comfort.
Nav. Newer version which is much improved.
Adaptive Bi xenons. Once you've had these you will never go back to the standard lights.
Surround cameras. Only really wanted reverse camera but worked out cheaper to order a pack including some other options required. Pulling out of our drive though has been made easier with the junction view ones. Took a while to trust the image but looks right down our road without having to edge out too far.
Full length roof rails.
Upgraded audio system and DAB which sounds awesome.
Folding mirrors.
High beam assist.
Difficult to remember what was extra as current Commercial now comes with a lot more as standard.
Its basically a HSE with no rear seats. The comfort and ride are fantastic.
This is my 3rd Commercial and the ongoing improvements have been great.
From D3 to D4 was major change and although from the outside going from D4 to latest D4 may look mainly like a facelift the comfort levels and technical improvements are equally pleasing.
Parallax33 note i haven't answered the latest posts individual not one to take advantage of a situation!
Yes signatures on the older motor but the new daytime running LEDs look much better.
