Give site sponsors A-plan a call.....if they can't help you,I'm sure they could advise on the best route to go down "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

After putting all my cars through the company for 10 years I really struggled to get insurance for me on the Disco earlier this year.
In the end Admiral came out with the best price and cover. Might be worth giving them a go, Adrian Flux were about the same too.

I'm sure that generally they are, but when I tried A-Plan they came back with a silly quote, apparently their under-writers don't like you to have no co-claims on a big heavy vehicle like the Disco - or that's the reason I was told anyway.

I had a similar problem moving from a company vehicle to an owned one.
In the end, Land Rover Insurance honoured my no claims with a company car since I could prove I was accident free.
I am sure that there are many which have schemes such as this to help you.

Have you tried NFU, generally not the cheapest but might understand your situation.

Just got my renewal notice from Churchill - £240 inc protected no claims and enhanced courtesy car (equivalent vehicle) cover.

When I went from Co car to my own (albeit some years ago) insurance Co were OK with a letter from our fleet manager (who was also a mte - which helped)

I was in a similar position after 3 years abroad. Direct line was the best balance of premium and service so I went with them for the first year and then switched to LR insurance. Currently have 6 years no claims and went with an Aviva multicar which costs us about the same as the first Direct Line premium but covers a D4 and Mazda 6. 2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT
