Best Annual European Cover
For the past few years I've had annual European cover via the AA but what other options should I look at? What experiences have others had?

I have the AA multi trip @ around £97
having had to use it a couple of times in France, the service has been excellent.
Even though I have LRA on the D4 now, I still keep the AA one going , just in case !!Duncan

Interesting. My 'discounted' renewal was £151 with the AA.

sorry , I lied - that was last years renewal - this year was £105, but I think it depends on the age of your car.Duncan

If you try your local Insurance Broker they should be able to offer the "BDAssistance" product which is annual breakdown cover through the RAC. The package includes Homestart, Roadside Assistance, Nationwide Recovery and includes Europe for around £70

I was giving an option - not an experience

ah OK.
do you know anyone who has made a claim. It may be an option to look at next year for me but as ive had really good experience with AA I would be reluctant to changeDuncan

Over the years this has been available, I have been told by many who have used it that they were happy with the service. I have not had a bad report.
The cover is for the specified vehicle only. This no doubt keeps the cost to a minimum as there is less risk of the product being "abused" as is the case with some of the "any vehicle you are in" (or perhaps your not!) covers which are available.
You would hope the leading firms like AA and RAC would both be able to offer a good service when needed.
