left admiral because they wouldn't cover off road use.
ended up with landrover insurance cus they said they did,
got the policy...mention of not covering 4 x 4 events so I queriy this...
it took 7 weeks to get a reply after a second chase up letter..
it appears the will cover NON COMPETITIVE off roading.

I was with Admiral. No off road cover for "4 x 4 events". Got a quote from Land Rover insurance which was more than double the Admiral renewal fee. Decided to stick with Admiral, stick to the tarmac and save myself £300! Discovery 3 HSE Auto (2007)
VW Golf TDI (2010)
Jaguar Sovereign 4.2 (1984)

Depends on how much off roading you do and how much you value your car but £300 could be one dented wing repair.
Why not try A plan they cover off roading and for me so far with house insurance have been 1st class. Will try them for car insurance in a couple of weeks time. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

That is pretty standard ....they do pay out for off road bumps too Don't know why it took 7 weeks to tell you though. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
