Ordered a new GS - Firenza red with black pack and leather interior.
The higher models just looked a bridge too far for my budget...
What do you think I'll miss the most with the entry level...
Also looks like the se will be just around the corner but probably a bit pricier...
I've owned a couple of discoveries before but a long time ago
So I'm sure I'll be impressed with the 4 whatever 
Have not even done a test drive!

Thought MY15 are being built September onwards and GS spec has gone?
So you may find you're forced to change spec unless you get an earlier build slot?

another dealer has just said a similar thing no more GS 's available.
but no sign of the change on the land rover web sites yet - you can still build a GS model under the buy new section.

I've got mine ordered with Stratstones at Newburn and they hadn't had the info long when I called in so it may be worth a phone call to your salesman to see what is happening  Cheers Ian

Is your delivery date October also?
So it looks like anyone with a GS already ordered will be getting the upgrade to SE without charge.
I guess if you go into a dealer now to order a GS you won't be able to do so....

That will be down to the individual dealer I think. Not guaranteed.

Hi Whaler,
When I originally ordered my GS they said it was going to be august delivery for September collection but now the order has actually been put through with the factory the delivery date to the dealer is 23rd of September.

Hi Whaler and Robse - I've also got an order in for an XS, placed end of March and was given an estimated mid Sept - but still no build date yet. . When were you given yours ? I've not had time to visit the Dealer to ask about the Specs as Hairy Dan had suggested, it's now definitely on the 'To Do List'. Looks like there's going to be some new LR photos all uploaded at similar time !!

Hi Boris, got my date at the weekend. I'd asked the dealer if I was getting incontrol on my SE and they sent me an email with all the spec on it including dates. Doesn't look like I get incontrol though !!
