Catweasel IS RIGHT!! 
I just checked and YES you do get the wheel display in the message centre. Although it only shows straight ahead or 45 degrees left or right.
I am 'only' up to page 175 of the manual  regards

ROFL...
The only catweasel I knew (until Now) was a rather funny Uk comedy show of about 20 years ago (i think) about a medievel wizard trapped in modern times. regards
